Unfortunately, there is a significant increase in the incidence of neurodegenerative diseases as well. Among them is also Alzheimer's disease, a chronic progressive and irreversible neurological disorder occurring in the central nervous system, the most common cause of dementia, accounting for 50% of dementia over the age of 65.
