We step out of laboratories

The research carried out at Jagiellonian University may be of interest not only to researchers but also to business circles, especially those aspiring to implement innovative solutions, new products and services stemming from scientific achievements. We want to make the use of the knowledge amassed by our researchers more accessible, and to render the projects carried out at Jagiellonian University more useful. It is our desire to initiate research responding directly to business and market needs. It is by this means that we hope to equip all innovative solutions with a solid scientific approach.

We construct bridges for the entrepreneurial-minded

Owing to the opportunities offered by the modern university in its hybrid form, we are creating a place where knowledge, experience and assistance will be available to everyone with the “entrepreneurship gene.” A space supportive of a dream of own business at every stage. A place where business environment meets the enthusiasm of young entrepreneurs. This will be both a virtual and physical space: we are making arrangements for a knowledge area and creative spaces, intended as testing grounds for business ideas and prototyping. It is here that a plethora of actions find home: acceleration programmes, idea incubation, entrepreneurship courses, assistance in securing funds, mentoring, expertise, e-learning, hackathons, industry conferences, multiple-level networking: attracting prospective partners and contractors. 

We offer space open to creative thinking

Business and new technologies are not solely the domain of giant companies, which take advantage of scientific resources to improve their processes and perfect their products. It is also the idea alone, a concept or a mission that describes the problem at hand and suggests possible solutions. Such concepts are often born in the minds of students, who will be able to carry out their projects and exchange knowledge in university’s creative space areas thanks to our actions. We intend to create an environment adjusted to interdisciplinary collaboration and fostering ideas.
