Early in November, a call will be announced for proposals of projects to be implemented under the Student Mini-Grant scheme, a new EI.JU action in the Priority Research Area BioS.

This new opportunity seeks to develop and implement mechanisms of recruitment and growth assistance to talented students by supporting their individual research Mini-Grant projects. Prospective applicants will be teams comprising at least two students of second-cycle programmes or 4th and 5th-year students of the integrated Master’s programme at the JU, who jointly draw up a project funding proposal under the published mini-grant call and who will carry out the research in at least two JU entities involved in the BioS PRA.

The project submitted under the call may not be a part of another research project, in particular one funded by the NCN, EI.JU, FNP, at the stage of submission in a call or already implemented in any entity involved in BioS PRA. The overall funding of an individual project may not exceed PLN 10,000. The research covered by the funding should be completed by 30 June 2021.
