Purchase of a laboratory centrifuge for the Department of Pharmacology, JU MC
A new MPW-352 laboratory centrifuge is now in operation at the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine JU MC. This model of tabletop laboratory centrifuge is intended for general use, being a highly efficient and universal device, which is used in medical, biochemical, veterinary, industrial and other laboratories. The centrifuge provisdes high centrifugation parameters as well as precision and repeatability of processes. It offers the widest range of available rotors and other accessories.
Moreover, it features an efficient ventilation system, maintenance-free induction motor, modern programming system, 99 built-in user programmes, possibility of changing parameters during spin and rotor auto identification. In addition, thanks to the MPW Editor software it registers the spin parameters. The equipment will be used in daily activities related to work in the cell culture laboratory of the Department of Pharmacology at JU MC.
The purchase was made with funding from the qLIFE Priority Research Area within the framework of the Strategic Programme “Excellence Initiative” at Jagiellonian University.
