The Scientific minigrants call for researchers of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Jagiellonian University 2021 is organized as part of SciMat PRA at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science (FMCS). The aim of the call is to support the scientific development of FMCS and to increase the application potential of research and research and teaching staff holding at least a doctoral degree.

Basic information about the terms of the call:

• The call is open only to FMCS employees with at least a doctoral degree.
• The minigrants are divided into two categories:

1. minigrants for experienced researchers (i.e. academic teachers who already have turned 40 at the time of submitting the application),
2. minigrants for young researchers (i.e. academic teachers who, at the time of submitting the application, are under the age of 40; this age limit is increased by the leaves taken, in accordance with the call regulations).

• The funds granted may be allocated to the remuneration of investigators participating in the minigrant, travel and stay costs of domestic and foreign research guests, research visits, purchase of research equipment, external services (e.g. translation, language proofreading).
• The maximum amount of financing for a single project depends on its type and amounts to: PLN 50,000 for an experienced scientist and PLN 30,000 for a young scientist. The duration of the minigrant cannot exceed 12 months from the moment of obtaining financing.
• The call starts on April 8 2021, the application deadline is May 6, 2021.
