Within the framework of the Strategic Programme “Excellence Initiative” at Jagiellonian University (ID.UJ) Priority Research Area “Better Research for Better Quality of Life – qLIFE” announces Call #12. Its purpose is to fund the costs of preparation and publication of scientific publications written by the employees of Jagiellonian University – Medical College and Jagiellonian Centre for Experimental Therapeutics in prestigious scientific journals.

Please submit work that meets the quality criteria outlined in the Call #12 Terms and Conditions and is within the qLIFE PRA thematic area:

• social diseases and diseases of affluence (including disorders of central nervous system, as well as cardiovascular, metabolic, cardiometabolic, neuroendocrine, cardiooncologic diseases);
• reproductive health;
• regenerative medicine;
• Drug development and therapy optimization (from verification of therapeutic targets to early assessment of effects in patients);
• Drug toxicity and safety assessment;
• Biopharmacy, Pharmacoeconomics and Health Technology Assessment;
• eHealth;
• Coordinated/team-based patient care models.

Reimbursement of scientific publications’ cost within the announced Call #12 will only cover works which publishing costs were not covered from any other sources and works submitted with the affiliation of Jagiellonian University – Medical College or Jagiellonian Centre for Experimental Therapeutics (JCET).

The total amount allocated for this call is PLN 350 000. Each of the submitted applications has a chance for funding up to PLN 15 000.

Call for papers is conducted on a continuous basis until the available pool of funds is exhausted. The qLIFE PRA Coordinator is responsible for conducting the selection of applications that will receive funding.
