As part of the strategic programme the Excellence Initiative at Jagiellonian University (ID.UJ) - the Priority Research Area "Better research for better quality of life - qLIFE" announces call for proposals for the "Visiting Scientists" programme. The aim of the Programme is to fund the costs of employment, accommodation and stay of the visiting scientist.

The research subject within which the employed visiting scientist should operate must be directly related to the domains of the qLIFE PRA activity.

The applicants applying for funding should be the Head of the JU MC or JU-JCET Unit or have the consent of the Head of the Unit.

The total amount allocated to this call is PLN 600,000.00. The call for proposals will be conducted on a continuous basis until the available financial resources are exhausted.

The maximum amount of funding that the applicant can apply for is PLN 50,000.00. The duration of the visiting professor's stay cannot be shorter than 1 month.

Proposals should be submitted in paper form to the qLIFE PRA office - Research Department of JU MC, ul. Podwale 3. The proposal must contain specific information included in the Rules for applying for funding under the "Visiting Scientists" Programme.

The qLIFE PRA Executive Team under the supervision of the PRA Coordinator is responsible for the evaluation and selection of submitted proposals.
